Turko - Character Run Cycle
Turko is a living tire with an axel as a stretched head, and a strong pair of arms. The rapid tire can usually speed away from any situation, so naturally Turko takes many unnecessary risks. Although fast, Turko is completely deaf, and can only communicate through gestures, attitude, and facial expressions.
This run cycle was difficult in the sense of creating smooth motions with the arms, and required a few drafts before creating the final product.
This animation was done using 11 frames looping at 12 fps. Everything was drawn on paper.
