Suburbs
Having a place to call home is a luxury as much as a daily part of my life. It's where siblings grow up together, where children play in their fantasies, or even where families share the most important moments in life.
This watercolor painting was done using a variety of techniques, strokes, and mixes of colors for creating the illusion of leaves on the trees, the shadows on the driveway, as well as outlining fine details with sharpie.
Living in a suburban environment is even more marvelous, with the beautiful sight of trees all about. But even then do times change, like our own lives, in the physical seasons around us.
Here a lone tree begins to make its way into autumn, hoping everyone else eventually tags along. There is always one who goes first, every now and then that someone might happen to be ourselves.
