Wiser Window

This water color practices the use of different shades and colors, while creating a subtle illusion of depth. I captured this painting looking outside my bedroom window.

Although the scenery itself is beautiful, the most important aspect is how the light shines through, and the silhouettes it highlights. The painting is not only seen through my own eyes (or my own window), but through the window the trees create, a window for the scenery to present itself.

Seeing through the two windows reflects the way humans see life, each of us through our own eyes, but in our own way. Those unique ways of how we each observe our surroundings and each other is what creates a unique personality, it is what creates each individual. The frame work of our perspectives is what makes the world a marvelous place.

We are the silhouettes of Earth.
